We are looking for highly talented and research minds in the following broad areas.
Educational qualification - Ph.D./MSc/M.Tech/B.Tech from reputed institutes with excellent academic records (Preferably 1-2 years or more experience) :

We also consider students for internship who are currently pursuing M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech in computational areas of Life Sciences with proper request letter from their department/institute Head. ( look details below)

1. Qualifications: Ph.D. Bioinformatics (with strong credentials preferred) or M.Tech. / M.Phil. in Bioinformatics with at least two to three years relevant research/ job experience, M.Sc. Bioinformatics / informatics / Engg with more than two years experience in bioinformatics research and application development.

Requirements: Apart from strong life sciences background such as in molecular biology, the experience with programming and high-throughput analysis of biological data is preferable i.e., gene expression and genomic data, and familiarity with genomic databases and software. The biological and bioinformatics experience/knowledge in the areas of Type 2 Diabetes and Cancer will be plus.

Programming experience in a UNIX/Linux environment using languages such as C, Java, Perl, Python, R, MATLAB and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is required (at least one programming language). Experience with object-oriented programming in Java and internet programming (JavaScript, HTML, Apache, and Tomcat) is desirable.

2. Qualifications: M.Sc. Bioinformatics / informatics / Engg with at least one year experience in bioinformatics research and application development.

Requirements: The experience with programming and high-throughput analysis of biological data is preferable i.e., gene expression and genomic data, and familiarity with genomic databases and software. Programming proficiency in Perl, C, Java and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is must.

3.   Qualification: B.Tech/B.Sc./ M.Sc. Computer sciences,

Requirements: Knowledge and work experience in system administration work (Software, computers, network and various related tools etc). Experience with computer networking, cluster programming, web server configuration, development, maintenance,   HTML, Perl, CGI-Perl programming etc. is needed.

4-6 Months Internship
Students doing M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech can apply for internship with proper request letter from their department/institute head in computational areas of Life Sciences with good programming/computational skills.

NOTE:

1. During internship no breaks ( for exams,attending classes etc. whatsoever) are allowed.

2. Due to confidentiality of the R&D work, only training certificate, evaluation by the supervisor at the company and very brief summary ( 8 to 10 pages) of learning will be provided. No project report will be allowed.
